Recently it was announced on the Brazilian World of Warcraft Facebook page that all players who reach level 60 while playing World of Warcraft Classic will receive a copy of World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth expansion pack on their account.
The Battle for Azeroth expansion pack will be coming with one free level 110 character boost which players can use to get right into the meat of Battle for Azeroth content without having to play and level through any of the previous expansions. While purchasing the Battle for Azeroth expansion pack normally comes with a level 110 boost, this way, some players will be able to save a bit of money and returning players can get to experience the new content at no additional cost since playing classic also requires an active game subscription.
The post translates to:
A toast to 15 years of WoW
Upon reaching level 60 in WoW Classic you receive the Battle for Azeroth Expansion and Level 110 Boost.”
This promotion will likely be limited to only one per account, but so far, there has not been any official confirmation. The Facebook post has been removed which could indicate that it was accidentally posted or leaked. Blizzard has not yet commented on the situation.
