We are continuing our pets of the old raids saga with yet another article that covers all of the Battle Pets that are dropped by old raid bosses. This time, we will be going over all of the Cataclysm Battle Pets that drop from raids of this expansion. So without any further ado, let’s get right into it.
Throne of the Four Winds
Drafty, the elemental pet that can be dropped by the boss Nezir within the Throne of the Four Winds. The approximate drop rate of this pet is currently unknown.
Zephyrian Prince is an elemental pet that collected by using an item Zephyr’s Call. The Zephyr’s Call can be dropped by Al’Akir one of the bosses. The drop rate for this pet is unknown.
The Bastion of Twilight
Bound Steam is another elemental pet that can be obtained by using an item called Lesser Circle of Binding. The Lesser Circle of Binding can be dropped by Elementium Monstrosity one of the bosses of The Bastion of Twilight.
Faceless Minion is a magic type pet that can be dropped by boss Cho’gall within The Bastion of Twilight.
Twilight Clutch-Sister is a dragonkin type battle pet that gets be obtained by using an item called Odd Twilight Egg. The egg can be dropped by Valiona who is one of the bosses within the Bastion of Twilight raid.
Firelands
The elemental pet which can be gained by using an item Smoldering Treat. The Smoldering Treat can be acquired by killing Shannox, one of the bosses within Firelands. The drop rate is unknown.
Cinderweb Recluse is an elemental pet that can be dropped by the boss Beth’tilac within the Firelands raid. The approximate drop rate of this pet is unknown.
This elemental pet can be dropped by Baleroc who is one of the bosses of the Firelands raid instance. The drop rate is currently unknown.
Dragon Soul
Corrupted Blood is an elemental pet that can be obtained by using an item called Elementium Back Plate. The Elementium Back Plate can be dropped by the boss Spine of Deathwing. The drop rate of this pet is unknown.
Faceless Mindlasher is a magic type pet that can be obtained by using an item called Twilight Summoning Portal. The Twilight Summoning Portal can be dropped by the boss Yor’sahj the Unsleeping. The drop rate of this pet is unknown.
Unstable Tendril is an elemental pet. It can be received by using an item called Severed Tentacle. The item can be dropped by the boss Madness of Deathwing. Approximate Drop Rate is 1 in 7.
Blackwing Descent
The Discarded Experiment is a dragonkin type of pet. It can be obtained by using an item called Experiment-In-A-Jar. The Experiment-In-A-Jar can be dropped by the boss Maloriak within Blackwing Descent. The drop rate for this pet is currently unknown.
This undead type of pet has a chance to be dropped by Nefarian who is one of the bosses within the raid of Blackwing Descent. The drop rate for this pet is unknown.
Tinytron is a mechanical battle pet which can be acquired by using an item called Rough-Hewn Remote. The item can be dropped by the boss Magmatron who resides within the Blackwing Descent raid.
Baradin Hold
No battle pets are dropped by any of the bosses in this raid.
